The Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (IN) is an Associated Laboratory funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) to work in the emerging fields of Nanotechnology, BioNanotechnology and Nanosciences. IN was officially formed in 2007 with full status of Associated Laboratory given in January, 2008.
